Dr. Jenny Jackson
Born in Naperville, Illinois, Jenny Jackson moved to Texas with her family in 1982 and grew up locally in Bedford where she attended L. D. Bell High School. Always having an interest in animals, she told her parents she wanted to be a zookeeper. This later led her to Florida where she studied marine science and biology at the University of Miami. Dr. Jackson obtained her Bachelor of Science in 1996 and then decided to come back to Texas to pursue Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from Texas A&M with her DVM in 2001.
Dr. Jackson has practiced veterinary medicine in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since graduation. She initially worked in small animal hospitals in Plano and Carrollton before practicing emergency medicine in Dallas for 7 years. She was proud to become part of the Prestonwood Pet Clinic family in May of 2014. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, toxicities and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Jackson currently resides in Coppell with her husband of 11 years and their two children. They also share their home with her mixed breed dog, Pixel. In her downtime, she likes to stay active and has always been a sports fan, having grown up playing soccer, softball, and volleyball. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
A strong part of Dr. Jackson’s practice philosophy is that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits all approach to veterinary medicine. She will strive to create tailored treatment plans to meet each pet’s unique needs here at Prestonwood.
Dr. Andrea Bright
Dr. Andrea Bright is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. Growing up, she always wanted to help animals. When she turned 14 years old, she asked her local veterinarian if she could hang out at the clinic during her free time. They, of course, said yes! After turning 16, she began working at this clinic all through high school and even on her holidays off from college. After graduating Auburn University for her undergraduate degree in Microbiology in 2013, she continued her schooling at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May of 2017.
Dr. Bright decided to make the move to Dallas, Texas since her brother was already living in the area. She fell in love with the area and has decided to call it her home. During her free time, Dr. Bright sails small boats competitively and tries to keep her Husky, Sperry, occupied as he is always causing mischief. She also has two very sweet kitties who have been with her all through college and vet school. Their names of Aubie and Ivan. Aubie is a big ol’ orange tabby and Ivan is a curious Russian Blue.
Dr. Crystal Hall
Dr. Hall graduated from the Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. THe best part of her job, according to Dr. Hall, is the ability to help investigate health issues and find any problems a patient may possess but cannot verbally express.
Dr. Hall has recently discovered a passion for water activities! She also shares her passion for veterinary medicine with her husband, who is also a veterinarian. While her fur family inclues six dogs--Sanchez, Pixie, Beast, Sway, Zu, and Nani--she also has a monkey named Sony that she raised.
